Arthroscopic Shoulder Stabilization

Arthroscopic repair decreases pain, lowers the risk of post-op complications and allows the surgery to be performed on an outpatient basis.  However, if the injury is too serious and irreparable through arthroscopic repair, arthroscopic open stabilization surgery is a viable option. Arthroscopic stabilization surgery, or surgical shoulder stabilization, happens though an arthroscopic procedure that implements the reattachment of torn, loose ligaments to the joint.  This is done through suture anchors, special implants. These anchors can relocate and assist the injured joints.
